Policy papers

1

Artificial Intelligence

This paper envisions AI as the "mind" of a planetary super-organism, harmonizing human activities with ecological and ethical imperatives. It introduces a holistic governance framework grounded in the Gaia Hypothesis, emphasizing the role of AI in achieving homeostasis across social, economic, and ecological systems. Key recommendations include establishing a Global AI Governance Council, developing real-time indicators for planetary health, and promoting open-source AI to enhance transparency and inclusivity. By aligning AI systems with human and planetary well-being, the paper underscores the potential of conscious policymaking to navigate complex global challenges.

2

Blockchain

This paper highlights blockchain as a catalyst for decentralizing governance, fostering resilience, and advancing societal evolution. Inspired by Spiral Dynamics, it frames blockchain as humanity's transition from hierarchical systems to networked, cooperative models. Policy suggestions focus on promoting Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) for collective governance, tokenization for equitable resource management, and frameworks to transition from centralized to decentralized systems. The paper advocates sustainable blockchain practices and open-source collaboration to ensure inclusivity and adaptability in a rapidly transforming world.

3

Financial system

This paper critiques the current debt-based monetary system for its inherent incompatibility with ecological sustainability, reliance on perpetual growth, and centralization of financial power. It introduces the Relative Theory of Money (RTM) as an alternative framework that decentralizes money creation through universal dividends distributed equally to all individuals. This model ensures equitable wealth distribution, reduces financial instability, and aligns economic activities with ecological limits. The paper outlines a roadmap for transitioning to RTM, emphasizing phased implementation, legal recognition of alternative currencies, and collaboration with financial institutions to foster a sustainable and inclusive monetary system.
